Undiscovered World 48 is an NCAA-certified basketball showcase where 48 hand-picked international players play in front of US college coaches. The next event is in Riga, Latvia, in May 2027.

The event has to speak to three groups at once: players who want to apply, parents who want to know it's serious, and college coaches who want to see the talent.

We built a website that shows last year's results, makes it easy to apply and gives coaches everything they need in one place.

What we delivered

  • Homepage with a countdown to tip-off
  • Application form for next year's event
  • Player profiles for every year group
  • Overview of players who have signed with colleges
  • Page for college coaches
  • Livestream page for coaches who can't be there
  • Page on NCAA eligibility rules
  • Practical info and a printable packing list

From undiscovered talent to Division I, with a website that shows the way.

Testimonial

“Our event only works if the right players apply and the right coaches show up, and the website is the first thing both of them see. Groundwerk Studio understood that straight away. They built a site that shows our results, makes applying simple and gives coaches everything in one place. We got a fixed price, saw it come together quickly, and launched in time for applications to open.”

#1 Website

Visitors need to understand quickly that this is a serious event with real results. The front page shows the countdown to tip-off, which colleges have attended and which players have received offers, before sending people on to the application.

#2 Applications

Players from all over Europe apply to take part. The application is easy to fill in on a phone, and the NCAA rules page helps them check whether they're eligible before they apply.

#3 Player profiles and commitments

Every year group gets its own player profiles, and players who have signed with a college get their own page. That makes the results concrete for new players and coaches alike.

#4 For coaches

College coaches have their own page with what they need to know, and a livestream page so they can watch the games even if they can't travel to Riga.
